I'll try to explain it, it's not that difficult to do, but you need the help of an alliance member to do it.

You need some alliance member to set up a rally attack against someone's HQ (not your looting target), rallying some abandoned Userxxxx HQ with a 1 hour timer works fine, then you go and launch your attack against the target you wanna loot like usual. You see when your troops are moving they have a green truck icon on top of it, in the bar at the right, and when they reach the target the icon changes to a green tent for like 1 second, and then the red swords icon while attacking. While your troops move to the target you open the rallies tab like you do for tyrant, tap the + to join your friend 1 hour rally to some random target and have your moving troops selected so you can have them join instantly when you need. Once your troops reach the target and the icon changes to the green tent, right before it changes to the attack icon you make your troop join your friend's rally, and that's it. It requires a little bit of practice but once you master it it's fairly easy to use
