Hey Server 54!
Lets talk State vs State ( SvS ) and what we can do to participate.
I am going to break this down into 3 different types of participation. 1 - Attackers, 2 - Reinforcements and 3 - Space Takers.
Each of these roles are just as important BUT they are not all measured the same. Attackers will get the most points as they will be actively performing tasks that give you points while reinforcements will get little and Space Takers will get almost none. I will start from position 3 and work my way up.
First lets talk some words that I will be using, just to help everyone understand.
1 - Green Area - you can shield in this area. While shielded you can reinforce people in the brown area. This is extremely important as people in brown will have their main tank and possibly second tank out. This might cause them to be exposed easily to attacks or lower their troop count enough.
When defending - you want to take up as much space as possible. Look at the HQs below the capital area picture. The first picture on left, requires a lot of HQs to take up space because they are touching. Middle picture leaves a gap between. This allows less bases to create a wider area of coverage. while not allowing a single HQ to go between them. Be mindful of when placing, this will also go for Brown area as well.
A good tip - if you are in brown and need to be reinforced. You can start a boomer with a long timer. This will enable the tank to travel quickly to your HQ. Allowing them to then leave the Boomer Rally and reinforce your HQ normally without needing to wait 2-5 minutes to travel there.
2 - Brown Area - You cannot shield here, it is dangerous. Here is where you will be attacking to blow up bases. A lot of people will send their Tanks from Green who are shielded into this area to be attacked. They are trying to get points and lower your troops. Do not TvT unless you are protecting someones base or rally.
TvT = Tank vs Tank - This is where you attack another persons tank that is sitting in the open.
When attacking someones base, also let the stronger person attack first. Example - lets say you see Omu using 3 tanks to attack a base and you and 2 alliance members are near with T8 troops. You can attack once as it goes red, or yellow depending how fast it goes. Omu will tank all the damage to their tanks but you will greatly help because you 3 helping might cause the base to blow up. Saving fuel and more troops for others.
3 - Battle Area - One the map below its the DARK BROWN area that is surrounded by the red. This area you cannot TP into or go into with your HQ.
3 - Space Takers This can be any HQ level, but mainly under HQ 24.
This role might seem like one that does not matter or has limited significance but its plays a critical role inside SvS. Just like in sports, not everyone is a star player, not everyone can be a shooter, or striker you need people to play defense or other positions and that is what this role is. During SvS it is critical in either Offense or Defense to take space inside the green area to make sure the other server cannot have it. The more space we take closer to the brown area the longer it takes the enemy to get from green to brown.
Defense - If you are able, we will move to the capital a day or two prior. Set up your base and space it out. Get ready and save up for that shield. You will put on a shield 5 minutes before reset if possible. If you are not playing at all, use a 24 hours shield. You will take up space and allow the attacker to have to come from farther out.
Attackers - If you can join when you are able and go into the green. It is the same strategy as Defense. You will take up space but this time you also might be asked to move to make room for someone close. If you can get there right at reset at a prime spot near the brown but in green. You now give the opportunity for a strong player to come in and help start clearing green.
This role, does not get thanks...it does not get the gratitude as others however with you doing this we cannot win. I thank you in advance for your sacrifice and ability to play this role.
2 - Reinforcements This is mainly HQ 24-27 players.
Just because you do not have Tier 9 troops does not mean you are not strong. Strength is in numbers and not one person. There are two types of players in this group.
1 - Shielded Reinforcements. You will sit in the green area with a shield, 8 or 24 hours and you will send reinforcements to your alliance HQ's. Look for those boomer rallies to help out to get there fast.
2 - Base Attacks - Damage can be done even with T7 troops. You can have your tanks follow around in the brown area while you are in the green. If you are a low HQ player under 27 I highly recommend staying the green unless space in brown is needed. Have your tank or tanks follow around the teams that are blowing up HQs. Attack when the enemy is in red or yellow, depending how fast it is going down. Once attacked, do not send back to your HQ. Don't worry about RSS you want points and to help. Continue to follow around the strong players, helping blow up bases.
3 - Strike Attacks - If you have a few members you can create rallies on HQ's that have low numbers of troops. If you notice near the end troops are starting to lower in HQ's and they have only 2k Tier 9 and low blue heroes inside the HQ because all tanks are out. Create a rally, hit those players.
1 - Attackers - This is 27 and Above. Tanks around 20mil +
You know who you are and what to do. This is a the doom squad that will go around and make room. They are the strongest but also the most vulnerable player. What you can do if you are low on troops is create a Boomer Rally with your last tank set it at 30 minutes, and your Alliance can join and speed to your assistance.
I see so many times these players do not think. Remember to scout bases, sometimes players will deploy a HQ24 in the brown but reinforce heavily. Just because its a low HQ does not mean its open. Be smart on your attacks.
TIPS and Notices
1. Only take our your main tank to battle. Removing your 2nd and 3rd - you will get burned.
2. Heal in batches - Limit your healing to 1hr - 1.5hr batches if a lot of people are online or lower if less. This enables you to speed heal.
3. To save troops in TvT and popping bases research Urgent Rescue. This counters Annihilation and perish from attacking HQ's.

4. Rallies should be done by the strongest person. Research,Rally Square and other factors will increase attack damage done by rally.

State Vs State - Earning Points
There are a total of 4 Phases to earn points. I will be using the two colors that are used above for attacks. Green = Land outside the capitol. Look at the ground its green with grass. Brown = inside the capitol, around turrets and the ground is brown.
Phase 1 - Prep Phase - VS Points Only
This is where our heavy hitters come into play, or if you are a lower HQ joining. Use the tactic above. Join the attack when its yellow or red depending on the speed of it to help blow up the base. During this phase you earning points by attacking. We use this phase to clear space around the capital this has a couple benefits.
1. Allows S54 members to come and TP in.
2. Forces the server we are attacking to waste TP and Diamonds to come back.
3. Hurts smaller and weaker players, taking them out of SvS.
During this phase, only waste troops you can afford to lose that you can replenish. You will need a lot more during the actual fights. If you are low, find space in the green and shield up, you can earn points later. Do not feel the need or pressure to attack.
Again this is VS points only for Buster or Kill Day.
Phase 2 - Start of SVS
Lets talk points first
Brown Area Points (Listing Lvl 7-9 troops only)
1. 72-90 points per kill of enemy inside Turret or Capital
2. 36-45 points per kill
3. 36-45 points per troop lost
4. 10 points per 1 hit point of Damage on HQ5. 50k to Pop a HQ
Green Area
1. 8-10 Points per kill in green area
2. 10 points per 1 hit point of Damage on HQ
You earn 50k points for blowing up a HQ inside the Capital or Level 6 City. If 25 people are part of this attack, 25 people earn 50k points each.
As you can see, you earn a lot of points by damaging and killing inside the brown area. If you are low level and ask "Omu, How can I earn more points? I am weak." I have the solution. We need to coordinate attacks with 5-8 ppl Wait until the HP of the HQ turns Yellow and then join in, or once it goes red. You will earn points by popping the HQ and assisting but limit your deaths.
Phase 3 - Securing the Capitol
This Phase is when the capitol opens, All alliances will have a job to do. Top 4 alliances will be going after the turrets, and securing the Capital. The other alliances are responsible for clearing the enemies away in brown area or the green area "ONLY" if we need more space in green.
Phase 4 - Winning Period - Earning points.
Do what you can and coordinate attacks on LOW HQ ppl to get those points. This is when we are 15 minutes away from winning.
REWARDS - This is why we do this right?
